Polymer Science and Technology
Polymer science and technology concerns the chemistry and physics of polymers, polymer processing and applications of polymer materials, as well as environmental aspects of polymer materials. Within the subject area we carry out research on new synthetic pathways to functional monomers and polymers, fundamental structure-property relationships of polymers, polymers from renewable resources, methods to recycle of polymer materials, as well as ion conducting polymers and membranes for energy applications.
