Next-generation Electrochemical Energy Materials (NEEM) Group
Our research is dedicated to developing innovative energy materials for next-generation batteries, guided by the vision of a sustainable, fossil-free future.
We focus on designing and optimizing electrode materials for solid-state batteries and redox flow batteries. Currently, our work emphasizes sulfide- and halide-based solid electrolytes, as well as zinc-based aqueous electrolytes.
Our research covers the full spectrum from material synthesis and structural/electrochemical characterization (both ex-situ and operando) to integration into laboratory-scale devices, enabling a deeper understanding of material behavior and paving the way for practical energy solutions.
